Tasting Notes:
Sapporo x Aeon has teamed up once again this fall for Lager’s High Houjun Nodogoshi, guaranteed to get you hammered with its 7% ABV. This time they’ve chosen a blend of three types (unstated) of malt to created a rich fall-like flavor. Check your local Aeon chain for this limited brew.

Houjun Nodogoshi pours out a deep golden color with a tangy, hoppy nose. The first gulp is smooth yet rich, with a malty acidity to it. The alcohol content sports itself on the mid to back end, finishing with a rich bitterness down the throat.

For those of us shallow pocketed fellows, looking for a cheap way to get a buzz yet still be palatable, Lager’s High Houjun Nodogoshi fits the bill. It’s a decent new genre brew, but the high alcohol content on the backend starts to get old throughout the glass. Poor university students, look no further for your weekend refreshment.
