Tasting Notes:
Sapporo’s winter brew in the new genre category is a wheat based beer, which includes some malted wheat in addition to its rich gold malt and golden aroma hop recipe. Kinu no Koku should be as smooth as “silk” to drink.

Kinu no Koku pours out a light straw color with a silky head, aromas of tangy malt linger in the air. It has a very light and smooth taste from front to back, when the bitterness kicks in. In the background subtle hints of dough and wheat show themselves.

This winter’s new genre brew from Sapporo is quite simple. The wheat really brings a nice smoothness to the drink, and with its lack of any unpleasant flavors, Kinu no Koku is an easy drinking, solid showing.
