Kirin Lager Beer, Spring 2011.

Kirin Lager Spring 2011

The delicate iconic cherry blossoms that make Japan’s spring season so special, casually frame the distinct Lager Beer logo that is Kirin. It’s such a simple design, I almost missed it sitting on the supermarket shelf.

  1. Hi,
I’ve been buying these Hanami designs too. I like the Kinmugi design.
Have you tried the Orion Ichiban Sakura, seasonal beer? It’s pretty good.

    Kanpai!

    Jim,
I haven’t been able to get out to buy the Orion one yet, but it’s on my list. I tried it last year though, and liked it quite a bit.

Was the area you live in affected by the quake/tsunami?

  3. No, thankfully. Kansai wasn’t affected too badly, although my office building in Osaka swayed for about a minute.
    What about you?

  4. DM says:

Good to hear. We’re fine here in Ishikawa, didn’t even feel the tremor yesterday.
